He is survived by: his close friend Tina Rack; his parents, Robert Tate and Nancy Tate; his sister Sarah Tate (Dave Perkins); his nieces and nephews, Josh Tate (Megyn Coughlan), Zoe Lynn Egan and McKenzie Perkins; and also, Kelsey (Roman), William (Cassandra) and Keri (Josh).
