He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothea; his parents, Hjalmar Backa and Alina Backa; his siblings, Eva Strike (late Jack), Olavi (Hilkka), Leevi (late Morna) and Mauno (Elsie); and his nieces and nephews, Brenda, Kerry, Brian, Kevin, Geoff, Mark, Lori, Karl, Evelyn and Lisa.
