He was predeceased by: his spouse Annette Bowen; his parents, Bruce Bowen and Etta Bowen; and his brothers, Bob, George, Merton and Orville.

He is survived by: his children, Gary (Toni) of Edmonton, Michael of Barry and Mark of Arnprior; and his siblings, Barbara Bowen and Helen Daniliak (Nick).
