As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daryle Carmichael; her brother Robert Norton (Marilyn); her siblings-in-law, Howard Carmichael (late Doreen), John Carmichael (late Lavina), Mary Proulx (late Charles) and Eileen Gordon (late Jack); and her parents, Charlie Norton and Florence Norton (Dowthwaite). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyce Funeral Home (138 Daniel St N, Arnprior, ON K7S2L3). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Boyce Chapel (138 Daniel St N, Arnprior, ON K7S2L3).
