She was predeceased by: her brother Elmer MacLaren; and her parents, Campbell MacLaren and Mildred MacLaren (Kenney). She is survived by: her husband Bill Thompson; her children, David Thompson of Arnprior, Robert Thompson (Jane) of Arnprior and Julie Strike (Mark) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, Ashley and Brendan; her sister Ann Munroe (Gordon) of Perth; her sister-in-law Susan Van Dusen Thompson (Douglas Bromley); her nieces and nephews, Michael, Christopher, Allan, Nicole, Pamela, Sean and Adam; and her friend Lois Wallace.

In memory of Pat, a donation may be made to the Grove Nursing Home or to the Grace St. Andrew's United Church, Arnprior.
