He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Blackburn; his son Jim Blackburn; his grandchild Jordan Schnob; his parents, David Blackburn and Catherine Blackburn (late Gladys Campbell); and his brother Lorne Blackburn (late Dorothy).
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Strong (Gail); his grandchildren, Jason (Jill), Joey, Ashley and Amy (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Cole and Robbie.
As an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made to the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Arnprior or to the Arnprior and District Humane Society.
