He was predeceased by: his former wife Thelma Layzell; and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baird; and his stepchildren, Di Anna, Ritchie and Jennifer. He is also survived by his extended family and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken's memory to the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program Inc.
