He was predeceased by: his brother Doug; and his parents, Eldon Carty and Charlotte Carty. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brittnay and Blake; his great grandchild Lucas; and his siblings, Ray (Bettyann), Donnie (Nancy), Gary (Karen), Bob (Linda), Wayne, Charlie (Nancy), Beth Manson (Ron) and Karen Carty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
