She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Thomson; her children, Barbara Vincent, Bonnie Thomson-Barnard (Scott) and Terry (Joyce Rombouts); her grandchildren, Ryan Vincent (Hanna MacDonald), Eric Vincent (Daphne Strader) and Madison Barnard; her great grandchildren, Ella and Weston Vincent; and her parents, Peter Nighbor and Margaret Nighbor.

She is survived by: her sisters, Audrey Johnston (late Earl) and Claire Linde (late Basil).
