He was predeceased by: his spouse Isabel Scobie; his children, Helen Nicholas (Dan) and Robert (Sandra); his parents, Arthur Scobie and Birdie Scobie; and his sisters, Lorena, Margaret, Edith and Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Hugh (May), Sandra Quade (late Clarence), Jim (Karen), Isabel Bigras (Marc), Neil and Eoin (Fanny). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
