It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean McTeer (Arnprior, Ontario), who passed away on October 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Charlie McTeer; and her brother Hector Lemieux (late Carlotta). She is survived by: her son Marc McTeer of Arnprior; her granddaughters, Samantha and Jessica; her brother David Lemieux (Margaret) of Ottawa; her nieces and nephews, Gavin (Carinne), Andrea, Mark, Owen and Chrissie; and her great-nieces, Charlotte and Sophie.

Memorial donations may be made to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.

“Jean was my mother’s best friend for over 70 years. After my mother passed away in 2016 I was delighted to have Jean tell me stories and show me photos of the two of them as adventurous young women. Being a keen reader (and huge Jeopardy fan) she was always up on the latest books, music, and movies, and gave me many great recommendations. I treasured the times we spent together when I visited Ottawa, and will miss her very much. Marc, I am very sorry for your loss. Janet Deisley (neé Freeth).”
