He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Armstrong and Jessie Armstrong; his wife Emily; and his daughter Jackie. He is survived by: his children, Ian (Jennifer), Lyle (Jennifer), Kathie Armstrong (John Grainger) and Christopher (Amanda); his grandchildren, Greg, Ben, Cole, Emily, Gavin, Adrian, Alana, Bryce and Jackie; his close friend Marlene Lavalee; his stepchildren, Grant, Carol, Neil and Judy; and his brother Henry Armstrong (Shirley).
