He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverley Rivett; his parents, Russell Rivett and Dorothy Rivett; and his sister Margaret Stovka. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Rivett (Nicole) of Arnprior and Margaret Murphy (Neil) of Dunrobin; his grandchildren, Amber, Taylor, Ethan Charlie, Linden, Delaney, Jessica, Lyal and Carter; his great grandchildren, Zadie-May, Colson and Paisley; and his sister Doris Brown (late Ted). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Jim, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Mental Health Foundation.
