She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Swant; her siblings, Milton (late Audrey), Harold (Molly), Dalton, Joyce (late Ernie), Mary (late Ken) and Bettyann (Allan); and her parents, Emerson "Fred" Fiss and Lydia Fiss (Rutledge).

She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Swant, Larry Swant (Joyce) and Hal Swant (Debbie); her grandchildren, Lisa (Tom), Kaylie (Steve), Jody Campbell (Beatty), Lacey Barr (Greg), Lindsay Felhaver (Joshua) and Curtis (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Kaitlin, Jack, Olivia, Nigel, Hope and Grace; and her sister Karen Stevenson (Earl) of Brampton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
