He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Helferty (Grace Orr) and Lynne Helferty (Don) of Cobden. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Tracey Orr of Ottawa, Tim Orr (Lori O'Neill) of Ottawa and Tanya Paul (Bruce) of Pakenham; and his sisters, Janice McLaren (Jack) of Cobden, Marian Warren (late Alton) of Cobden and Carol Leach (late Kevin) of Cobden.
