He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; his son Ricky Popkie; his parents, Reuben Popkie Sr. and Beatrice Stubinsky; and his siblings, Reuben Popkie Jr., Donald Popkie and Dale Collier (Steve).
He is survived by: his daughter Shari Barry (John) of Arnprior; and his sister Betty Hamilton (Reid) of Glasgow Station. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
