He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deugo and Ruth Deugo; and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Bette; his children, Rob (Christine) and Carolyn Lalonde (Shane); his grandchildren, Rylan, Gavin Deugo, Alyssa, Chelsea and Makayla Lalonde; his brother David; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Deugo and David Naismith (Emmy). He is also survived by nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
