He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Charlotte; his children, Caroline (Jean-Luc Thauvette), Jim and Ingrid (Matt Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, Corinne, Audrey, Lottie, Roxy and Johnny.

Due to COVID-19, a private celebration of his life was held with immediate family members in the beloved garden of his home.
