He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Ethel (McConnell); and his siblings, Kathleen, Phyllis, Lois and Oren.

He is survived by: his wife Edna (Munro); his children, Gord, Janet (John Radisch) and Harold (Ann); his grandchildren, Jason, Cory (Marhlee), Ben (Katie), Johanna, David (Erika), Robert and Thomas (Meaghan); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Felix, Sawyer, Clayton and Emily.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Grove Redevelopment Fund or the Diamond Cemetery Fund.
