He was predeceased by: his spouse Pierrette "Pete" Gélineau; his parents, Bill Nicholas and Mary Jane Nicholas; and his siblings, Jerry Nicholas (late Harriet), Roy Nicholas, Leonard Nicholas (late Greta), Douglas Nicholas (late Margaret), Theresa Nicholas and Joseph Nicholas.

He is survived by: his children, Robert (Mina) of The Phillippines, Roger (Marie) of Port Hope, Danny (Marion) of Arnprior, Kevin (Lori) of White Lake, Richard and Brian (Brenda); and his sibling Wilfred Nicholas (Eileen) of Arnprior. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
