He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heise and Esther Kauffeldt; and his siblings, Edith Bandy, Merrill Heise and Goldie Hogan.

He is survived by: his spouse Barbara; his children, Cathy Sharpe (Tim), Dawn Ebert (Glenn) and Steven Heise (Marcia); his great grandchildren, Vicotria St, Daniel Dupuis, Archer Ebert and Avika Kalvapalle; and his siblings, Margaret Harrod and Mildred Heise.
