He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverley; his children, Peggy Smith (late David Antochi), Irene Deeks and James "Jim" Smith; his grandchildren, James Smith (Jess Noland), John Deeks (Jessica), Katie Barr (Justin), William Deeks (Bri) and Dillon Smith; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Aaron, Declan, Hunter, Lilith and Mason; his brother Jack (Fran); his niece Julie; and his nephew Lewis Smith.
