He was predeceased by: his parent Margaret Cafley (Fargher). He is survived by: his children, Matthew, Julie (Luc), Chad (Marisa) and Kirk (Robin); his grandchildren, Taylor, Lily, Zacharie, Théo, Joseph, Aubrey and Bodhi; his parent Ronald Cafley; and his siblings, Judith (Gordon), Elizabeth (Sher), Mark (Nancy) and Rennie.
