He was predeceased by: his son Luc; his parents, Aline Vary and Rodolphe Bisson; and his siblings, Jean-Paul (Lucienne), Roger (Juliette), Jacques, Philippe (Louise), Armand (Madeleine), Gaston (Claire), Clément (Carmen), Jacqueline (Orval), Hélène (Armand), Raymond and Monique.

He is survived by: his wife Gisèle Lessard; his daughter Francine Godin (Mark); his daughter-in-law Christine L'Abbe (Mark); his grandchildren, Lisa Godin (Jean-François) and Kelly Rusheleau (Tim); his great grandchildren, Haddie and Wade Rusheleau; his siblings, Richard (late Rita), Margo (late Germain), Pauline and Aline; his sister-in-law Françoise (late Raymond); and his close friend Paul Chabot.
