She was predeceased by: her husband Morris Evans Ritchie; her brother Robert Halpenny; and her parents, Earl Halpenny and Mae Halpenny (Metcalfe). She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Ortega (Julian) of San Diego and Brenda Carter (Henry Szkarlat) of Arnprior; her grandchildren, Liana Woodfield (Spencer), Laura Carter and Sara Anne Carter (Vincent Reed); and her sister Alice Halpenny of Ottawa. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
