She was predeceased by: her husband Ewald Berger; her daughter Marilyn Berger; her siblings, Mervyn, Elmer, Hilda and Kenny; and her parents, Alan Ritchie and Mary Ritchie (Nesbitt).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bruce Delahunt (Louise), Donna Gilks (Keith Holman), Rodney Gilks, David Gilks and Lori Gilks (Kirk). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
