He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Eckford (Munro); his parents, Glen Eckford and Mildred Eckford (Fulton); and his sister Joy Eckford. He is survived by: his children, Steven Eckford, Valerie Levesque (late Ken), Jill Butt (Wayne) and Robin Brown (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Quentin (Tricia), Lance (Sarah), Jennie (Eric), Brett (Samantha), Jamie and Emily (Kris).
