He was predeceased by: his son Doug (Julia); his grandchildren, Evans McNab (Tanya), Kathleen McNab (Jeff Jonkman), Drew McNab (Lindsay), Jacqueline McNab, Luke McNab (Natasha Fallavollita), Erika Jenkins, Katherine McNab and Anne-Marie McNab; his great grandchildren, Milania, Sophia, Jack, Peyton and Makayla; his parents, John McNab and Bella McNab; and his siblings, Isobel Munro (late Jim) and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Betty" Lindsay; his children, Lindsay (Connie), Kim (Dennis Jenkins) and Jeff (Chantal); and his sisters-in-law, Thelma Lindsay (late Harold) and Margaret Lindsay (late Bud). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
