He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris; his parents, Katie Herrick and Jim Herrick; his siblings, Leonard "Len", Patrick "Pat", Dominic "Dom" and Lois Ryan (late Bill); his stepsons, Robert "Chic" Anderson and Andy "Gump" Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred Clark (late Wib), Dalton Chabot (late Judy) and Howard Chabot.

He is survived by: his wife Doreen Anderson-Herrick; his children, Joanne McLaren (Mackie), Mary-Catherine Eva (Doug), Jeffrey Herrick (Sonia Gorassini), Donna Symington (Rod) and Anita Schnurr (Don); his stepchildren, David Anderson (Shelley) and Julie Villamere (Raymond "Butch"); his stepdaughter-in-law Mona Anderson (late Andy); his siblings, Tish Stanton (Allan), Estelle Grenier (Ron), Phyllis Flegal (Doug), Mike Marie (Lucy) and Kathy Ste Marie (Gerry); his sisters-in-law, Vi Kurkoski (Gerald) and Celina Petroski (Barry); his grandchildren, Sarah McLaren (Andy Caldwell), Julia Herrick, Richard Morin (Stephanie Gauthier), Brian McLaren, Kate Reid (Casey Koons), Margaret Reid (Matthew Lewis), Leah Symington, Danielle Ashley, Deanna Symington, Brent Villamere, Andrea Villamere, Christopher Anderson and Ryan Anderson (Tianna); and his great grandchildren, Sebastian Herrick, Desmond Gauthier-Morin and Margaret Herrick (Maggie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
