He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Black and Verna Black. He is survived by: his children, John Black (Jordana) of Pickering and Jenny Souch (Mike) of Newcastle; his grandchildren, Logan, Megan, Lucas, Julia Souch, Avery and Cole Black; his siblings, Kenneth Black (Helen) of Arnprior and Gail Manson of White Lake; his niece Rachel; his nephews, Stephen and Robert (Deanna); his close friend Jimmy Barry; and his former wife Janet Black.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated by his family.
