He was predeceased by: his son Richard; his parents, Jack MacLaren and Doris MacLaren; his brothers, Bartley and Johnny; and his sister-in-law Carol MacLaren.
He is survived by: his spouse Rose Ann; his children, Audrey MacLaren of Horton, Virginia MacLaren (Rob Lankamp) of McNab, Maria MacLaren and Frances MacLaren (Aaron Campbell) of Horton; his sibling Doug MacLaren (Pearl Milliken) of Lochwinnoch; and his sibling-in-law Cathy Lavallee (Gilles). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
