He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville MacDowall and Myrtle MacDowall; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his close friends, Della McKinnon and Stephen Proulx (Josée); and his siblings, Merle Sonnenberg (late Ellard) and Allan MacDowall (Sandy).
