He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Downey and Vera Downey; and his siblings, Jim Downey (late Edna), Linus Downey (Madeline), Oswald Downey (Joan), Loretta McGuire (late Keith) and Anna Burns (late Joe).
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Quinn (late Mike), Viola Turner (late Allan) and Leo Downey (Evangeline). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and many good friends.
