He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Gladys (Schonauer); his sister Geraldine (Cox); and his sister-in-law Gail Newton (Carl). He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Van Ness); his siblings, Paul and Barb Pakul (Paul); his siblings-in-law, Walter Van Ness (Pauline), Mark Van Ness (Debbie), Darlene McQueen and Bev Jones (Bob); his sons, Tim (Liz) and Tony (Tanya); and his grandchildren, Melanie, Amanda, Myles Riley (Dawn), Julie and Mitchell.
