He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Mae (Freer) and John Alexander; his sister Delores; and his pets, Tucker, Sammy and Kayto.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Andrea, Suzanne (Paul) and Jennifer (Dave); his grandchildren, Matthew, Marissa, Victoria, Mitchel, Jacob and Sonia; his sister Sharon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery and Jack; and his sisters, Lorraine, Pauline and Lindy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory can be made to the National Air Force Museum of Canada in Trenton, Ontario or to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation in Napanee.
