He was predeceased by: his daughter Hazel Lambe (Roy) of Apsley; his parents, Hazel Whitmore and Frederick Whitmore; and his siblings, Gerald Whitmore, Francis Trotter (Albert), Bernice Holmes and Darlene Doxsee.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Whitmore; and his children, Cathy Degryse (Albert) of Apsley, Dill (Connie) of Havelock, Wesley of Apsley and Durwood (Brenda) of Apsley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
