He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Mary (Mitchell); his sisters, Rena Stephens, Rhoda Peebles, Georgina Hillis and Gail Smith (Mike); his parents, Gordon and Florence; his son Gordon Stanley Earnshaw; his sister Rita Earnshaw; and his brothers-in-law, Will Peebles, Don Hillis and Ray Stephens.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Earnshaw Pollard (Jeffery) and Brian Earnshaw (Barb Mercer); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Ainsworth (Rick), John and Bob Mitchell (Pauline). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
