It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Neilson Trotter of Apsley, Ontario, who passed away on February 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albert Neilson Trotter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robbie (Doris), Earl (Betty), Frank (Mary), Max, Ward (Josephine), George (Phyllis), Sadie and Ruby (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Ella, Harold and Bill.

He is survived by: his sons, Doug Reynolds (Linda) of Peterborough, Bob of Apsley and Eric Trotter of Apsley; his grandchildren, Jamie Rey (Mary), Connie Prior (Tim) and Cara Walker (Will); his great grandchildren, Jayden, Julia, Madeline, Thomas, Aiden, Sidney, Ella and Lucy; his siblings, Sanford Trotter, Ernie Trotter (Helen), Naomi Wilson and Carrie Wilson; and his sister-in-law Mary.

“Hello, my cabin is on Trotter Road on an acre severed from Albert's farm. He and I were good friends . Along with some other local worthies we gathered at the restaurant (Sandman) very early each morning for "coffee" and a chatter. I will miss him greatly. Thankful that he was a WW I I veteran, having been a tank driver involved in the liberation of Holland from the Nazi's. I will miss him. Rest in peace my friend.”
