She was predeceased by: her sons, Darryl and Andrew; her parents, Herbert Lockland Nickerson and Frances Naressa Cox; and her husband Morton "Buck" Buchanan.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard "Ricky", David (Kasha) and Roger (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Justin, Sarah, Tasha, Kyle, Josh, Carly (James) and Braeden; her great grandchild Sadie; her family Bingo; and her granddaughter Betty.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family.
