She was predeceased by: her husband Peter McGillis; her parents, Patrick and Mabel; and her brother Francis. She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Sargent (David) of Woodstock, Kelli Lenarduzzi (David) of Ancaster and Krista O'Reilly (James) of Fonthill; her grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Andrew, Emily Rose and Daniel; her great grandchild Angelina; her sister Marie Hanlon of London; and her family Vansittart Park.
