He is survived by: his wife Ursula; his children, Michael (Gloria), Martin (Nancy), Barbara and Margret (Michael); his grandchildren, Kristine (Kolby), Nick (Emily), Christopher (Maria), Benjamin (Kana), Tyson (Anne), Callum (Claire), Ally (Tom) and Angus; and his great grandchildren, Fynn, Bowen, Mickey, Teun and Clyde.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to a dementia charity would be welcomed.
