He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Charlene; his daughter Shelby (Ryan); his mother Lilian; his siblings, Michael (Sandi) and Joyce; his nieces, Sarah and Rachel; and his nephew Ben.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Princess Margaret Cancer Center or to Mission Services of Hamilton in Marcus' memory would be appreciated by the family.
