He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet and Roy; and his siblings, Martin, Andrew and Brenda.

He is survived by: his wife Lyn; his children, Matt (Yui) and Sarah (Jeff); his grandchildren, Shyun and Maya; his brother-in-law Bob (Irene); his siblings, Jennifer, Hazel, Steven and Phillip; his brother-in-law Steve; and his close friend Lorne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
