He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sharon McGuire (Elwyn) of Chesley, ON and Marvin Hewitson (Joan) of St; his parents, George Lavern Hewitson and Donelda Hewitson (Beattie); and his parents-in-law, Joseph Magri and Doris Magri.

He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Hewitson (Magri); and his daughters, Michelle Murray-Neck (Reid) and Jennifer Hewitson of Ancaster, ON.. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins.

Memorial Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society and Epilepsy Awareness in lieu of flowers.
