He was predeceased by: his parent Yaeko Yanagawa. He is survived by: his wife Florence; his daughters, Teri (Mike) and Naomi (Tim); his grandchildren, Emiko, Taiyo and Kadan; and his siblings, Fumi Hashimoto (late Ken) and Emiko Kawakami (late Ed).
