It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Biagioni of Ancaster, Ontario, born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Long after retirement and up until the pandemic - thanks to the efforts of Dr. Amin Mulji and Kelly from Homewell Senior Care - he continued to attend monthly rounds, health permitting, at the David Braley Research Institute at his beloved General Hospital.

“In loving memory of Eugene Biagioni, Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Spent many years 1942 to 52 living across from The Biagoni family at 529 Gage Ave. N. My memories were playing sports with Eugene and our friends in front of our houses or skating on the pond near the street car tracks & playing baseball at the Proctor & Gamble base ball field. On rainy days playing card games on my porch.”
