He was predeceased by: his sister Elvera Taormina (Dan). He is survived by: his partner Beverley Vankoughnet; his children, Andrea Tanner (Harry), Justin Gatto (Erica), Shasta Stokes (Steve) and Kass Williamson (Shaun); his grandchildren, Isabella, Faith, Brianna, Henry, Aidan and Klaira; and his brothers, William Shaffer (Charlene) and Daniel J. Shaffer (late Jeanne). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
