It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Greta Jenetta Tinkess of Amherstview, Ontario, who passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Tinkess; her parents, William Gilchrist and Ethel Gilchrist; and her sister Joan Esford. She is survived by: her children, Susan Reeves of Oshawa, David Tinkess (Carol) of Kingston and Robyn Babcock (Steve) of Kingston; her grandchildren, Tara Reeves (Chris), Melaney Tinkess, Ryan Tinkess (Julia), Zachary Babcock (Lezlie), Travis Babcock (Danielle) and Katlyn Thompson (Brycen); her great grandchildren, Alex, Morgan Babcock, Scarlett Babcock and Zoey Thompson; and her sibling Wenda Veldman (Derk).
