She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Friedericke Kraus and Helmut Kraus; her sister Margrit Wieber; her husband George Edgell; her children, David Edgell (Tara Zumpano), Sonja Edgell, Taralynn Young (Mark Young) and Tammy Edgell (Lawrence Norman); her grandchildren, Damyra Edgell (Jacob Hollywood), Hannah Edgell (Matthew Bornheimer), Abbie Edgell (Patrick McCormick), Hayden Young, Anna-Claire Young and Payten Young; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Edgell-Murphy and Mia Hollywood. She was also cherished by her family, friends.
Gerda's family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to Diabetes or Heart Foundation.
