It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valentino Dethomasis (Amherstburg, Ontario), who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carmela; his parents, Antonio DeThomasis and Antonia Scipione; his sister Andrea DeThomasis (Concetta Francavilla); and his parents-in-law, Nunziata Mastrodicasa (Francesco), Rocco Mancini (Marietta), Antonio Mancini (Carmela), Concetta Leardi (Giuseppe), Assunta D, Amore (Santino), Maria Mancini and Ermigildo Mancini.

He is survived by: his daughters, Antoinette (Ernest Pecaski) and Anna (Gino Savo); and his siblings, Elcina DeThomasis (late Giovanni), Angelo DeThomasis (late Pierina), Rosa DeThomasis (late Ivo), Maria DeThomasis (late Dino), Rocco DeThomasis (Patrizia) and Nicoletta DeThomasis (Nicola).
